Hello friends! Tomorrow night WWE will present the 25th anniversary of 1 of their big 4 events Survivor Series live from the World's most famous arena Madison Square Garden in New York City! As of now only 6 matches are on the card so let's get to it shall we?
WWE United States Championship Match: Dolph Ziggler vs. John Morrison
For the 2nd straight PPV Dolph Ziggler will be pulling double duty as he will be working this match here and also the Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match with Team Orton and Team Barrett which I will get to in a bit. Anyways Morrison scored a fall on Ziggler a couple of weeks ago on Raw in England which pretty much cemented his status as #1 contender. However there is a wildcard here in the form of The Long Island Iced Z Zack Ryder as he has been petitioning his fans to sign a petition for him to get a shot at the U.S. gold. Now according to the storyline Interim Raw GM John Laurianitis said that Ryder needed at least 15,000 signatures to get his U.S. title opportunity. Mission accomplished according to my partner in crime Mike Flecha so with that Ryder should get his shot sometime soon and who knows maybe as soon as this event as he could be added to this match to make it a Triple Threat but I digress. If this match remains as is Ziggler will most likely go over but if Ryder gets added then Ryder wins the belt! But in my honest opinion this match should remain as is and with that Ziggler goes over here and then drops the belt to Ryder next month at the TLC PPV in what I think will be a ladder match but we'll just have to wait and see what happens.
Winner: Dolph Ziggler
Lumberjill Match for the WWE Divas Championship: Beth Phoenix vs. Eve Torres
In all honesty I really thought that WWE was going to book the Divas in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match based on how the angles had been going on TV but to no avail we're stuck with another ho hum PPV Diva fight. Expect this to be the worst fight of the night and also expect Beth to retain after a trainwreck of a match.
Winner: Beth Phoenix
Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match: Team Barrett (Wade Barrett, Cody Rhodes, Jack Swagger, Hunico, & Dolph Ziggler) vs. Team Orton (Randy Orton, Sheamus, Mason Ryan, Kofi Kingston, & Sin Cara)
Of course what would Survivor Series be without at least 1 Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match right? Anyways this 1 has potential to be 1 of the all time great Survivor Series Elimination Matches of all time given the talent involved! 1 quick note before I get to my pick and that is Dolph Ziggler is an injury replacement for Christian who injured his ankle during the tour of Europe last weekend. Now to my pick! Of course the safe pick would be to go with Team Orton and originally I was going to go with Team Orton with Orton and Sheamus emerging as the Sole Survivors. But after watching last night's Smackdown I now have reason to believe that Team Barrett actually may go over here and let's face it friends they really need the win more than Team Orton does! Now of course no 1 has been on more of a roll in these types of matches than Randy Orton has especially that stretch of 3 straight years of being the Sole Survivor from 2003-2005 and add to that another such win in 2008! Should be 1 of the top fights of the night hands down as these matches are always so fun to watch and this 1 will be no different! Really tough to call as my gut tells me to go with Team Orton while my heart tells me to go with Team Barrett. So who wins? Well I'm going to take a chance here and listen to my heart and go with Team Barrett as Wade Barrett and Cody Rhodes will be the Sole Survivors and perhaps this could be the start of a big time push for both men heading into 2012!
Winners: Team Barrett (Wade Barrett and Cody Rhodes)
World Heavyweight Championship Match: Mark Henry vs. The Big Show
Last month at the Vengeance PPV these 2 recreated 1 of the most awe inspiring moments when Henry superplexed The Big Show which caused the ring to collapse! Not expecting that to happen again here but what I do expect to happen is Henry retaining in a hard fought physical match which may have the potential to be 1 of the better big man matches in recent memory! Also if Henry does retain then perhaps WWE could start planting the seeds for a future World title program with Mark Henry and Daniel Bryan which could result in those 2 throwing down at WrestleMania 28 in a David vs. Goliath type match!
Winner: Mark Henry
WWE Championship Match: Alberto Del Rio vs. CM Punk
Honestly I'm looking more forward to this World title match than the Henry/Show fight but anyways! Should be for me anyways the 2nd best fight of the night as these 2 can work and work quite well. Got a feeling that this 1 won't end clean though as I expect Punk to win via DQ after interference from Ricardo Rodriguez which will then lead to a rematch with these 2 next month at the TLC PPV and if that should happen look for it to be a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Match oh my!
Winner: CM Punk via Disqulification
The Miz and R-Truth vs. John Cena and The Rock
Of course this marks The Rock's 1st match in 7 years and this is the main reason why people are even buying this PPV in the 1st place! To me this has the feel of the 92 Survivor Series when Randy Macho Man Savage and Mr. Perfect teamed up to face Ric Flair and Razor Ramon because of the fact that you have Cena and The Rock teaming up and many people questioning if they can co exist as a team. Should be a Raw TV main event at best and while many people expect Rock and Cena to win this 1 others are expecting Cena to perhaps finally turn heel here and turn on Rock which would most likely lead to an Awesome Truth win here. Of course the safe pick here would be to go with Cena and Rock to win it which I was originally going to do but after thinking long and hard about it and if WWE wants to start planting the seeds for their epic battle in Miami next April then Cena would have to turn on Rock thus costing them the match and giving Miz and Truth perhaps the biggest win of their careers and do you know what? I'm actually going to go that route!
Winners: The Miz and R-Truth
Overall it looks like it could be a very good PPV even though I was hoping we would have at least 1 or 2 more Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Matches on this card but alas. In all honesty all of these matches except for the Divas title Lumberjill match should be good to great and if that's the case then this PPV could be a 7 or 8 out of 10 easy!

TNA Turning Point 2011 Predictions
Hello friends! Tomorrow night TNA Wrestling will present their 8th annual Turning Point PPV live from the Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida! 9 matches are on the card so let's get down to business shall we?
3-Way Dance for the TNA X-Division Championship: Austin Aries vs. Jesse Sorenson vs. Kid Kash
Should be a fun and exciting spotfest to kick things off and get the crowd pumped. Gonna take a chance here and go with Sorrenson to win the belt here after a miscommunication with Aries and Kash.
Winner: Jesse Sorenson
TNA Television Championship Match: Eric Young vs. Robbie E
My pick for worst fight of the night right here because we all know that this is going to be your typical ho hum EY campy comedy bullfunky match! UGH!!! Since I have to pick a winner here I'll go with EY to retain.
Winner: Eric Young
Six Person Tag Team Match for the TNA World Tag Team Championship: Mexican America vs. Ink Inc.
Return match from Bound For Glory only thing is the women will be inserted here as Sarita will team with Super Mex and Anarquia while Toxxin will join Neal and Moore. Anxious to see what Toxxin can do in there as I have never seen the girl wrestle before. Should be a TV quality match at best and as for the outcome well I will go with Ink Inc. to finally win the belts here as I expect Toxxin to pin Sarita.
Winners: Ink Inc.
Crimson vs. Matt Morgan
To be honest I'm a little iffy on this match because part of me thinks that this could actually end up being a top fight of the night while another part of me thinks that this will be another bad Impact Wrestling match. None the less I am going with Crimson for the win here as TNA has built him as undefeated too long to throw it all away now.
Winner: Crimson
TNA Women's Knockout Championship Match: Velvet Sky vs. Gail Kim
A few weeks ago on Impact Wrestling Gail Kim made her return to TNA after 2 underwhelming years in WWE and formed an alliance with Knockouts Senior VP Karen Jarrett and Madison Rayne which led to her and Madison winning the TNA Knockout Tag Team titles from Tara and Brooke Tessmacher. At Bound For Glory Vel Vel finally realized her dream and captured the Knockouts title in a 4 way match. Has potential to be 1 of the better Knockout fights in recent memory but in the end I'm gonna take a chance here and go with Velvet to retain the title thanks to Traci Brooks who I expect to get involved and cost Kim the match.
Winner: Velvet Sky
Mr. Anderson and Abyss vs. Bully Ray and Scott Steiner
Should be an OK match at best as I'm not really all that excited about it but since I have to pick some winners here I will go with Anderson and Abyss to get the duke here.
Winners: Mr. Anderson and Abyss
No Disqualification Match: Rob Van Dam vs. Christopher Daniels
Now this 1 has potential to be the fight of the night for some reason as the matches these 2 have had have been pretty good to say the least and with the No DQ rule in effect this 1 could be fun and entertaining to watch. Daniels could really use a win here and with that I'm going to take another chance here and go with Daniels to steal 1.
Winner: Christopher Daniels
Jeff Hardy vs. Jeff Jarrett
Here's another match that I have a good feelling about because their promo segments at BFG and on Impact Wrestling have actually been fun to watch! Should be a top fight of the night for sure and I will go with Jeff Hardy to get the win here I mean after all this is Hardy's 1st PPV match since the Victory Road debacle and he cannot lose such a fight right?
Winner: Jeff Hardy
TNA World Heavyweight Championship Match: Bobby Roode vs. AJ Styles
2 weeks ago on Impact Wrestling Bobby Roode turned heel and captured the TNA World Heavyweight Championship from his now former Beer Money tag team partner James Storm. At the end of this past Thursday's edition of Impact Wrestling Roode defeated Storm in a rematch after Storm had been brutally attacked before the match prompting AJ Styles to come out and call out Roode and then Sting made the match official as the show signed off. Now for those of you who don't know Styles injured his ankle at a TNA house show last Friday night and was recently diagnosed with a Grade 2 high ankle sprain. Now I'm not a doctor and I sure as heck don't play 1 on TV but judging by the severity of AJ's injury this is not going to be the 4-5 star classic I had originally pegged this 1 to be. So with that I will go with Roode to retain here.
Winner: Bobby Roode
Overall it looks like this will be another ho hum TNA PPV as I expect the 3 main events, the 3 way X match, Crimson/Morgan, and even the Knockouts title fight to be the highlights of the night while sadly the TV title fight, the 6 person Tag title match, and the Anderson/Abyss vs. Ray/Steiner fight to stink up the joint as the lowlights of the night. Looks like a 5-6 out of 10 for me but then again anything can happen on any given day and this PPV could actually be good but in all honesty I'm not holding my breath.
