Hello friends! Tomorrow night WWE will present their 2nd annual Money In The Bank PPV live from the Allstate Arena (formally the Rosemont Horizon) in Chicago, Illinois! 6 matches are on the card so without any further adu let's get to my predictions shall we?
Raw Money In The Bank Ladder Match: Rey Mysterio vs. Alberto Del Rio vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Alex Riley vs. R-Truth vs. The Miz vs. Evan Bourne vs. Jack Swagger
For me I think this will be the better of the 2 MITB matches on this card mainly because the field for this match is a lot more stronger than the Smackdown match. So let's break this 1 down. I can already rule out Jack Swagger, Evan Bourne, and Alex Riley mainly because they are not quite on that doorstep yet. Which means that any of the other 5 guys in this match could win. I mean Miz could win simply because he is the defending winner and WWE has pushed CM Punk to back-to-back MITB wins before right? R-Truth could win because he is more over since he turned heel back in April and his mic work continues to get better and funnier week in and week out! Personally I would like to see Kofi Kingston win this match because he is the most underrated and underutilized worker in this match and no one other than John Morrison is more deserving of a main event push than Kofi! However my 2 favorites to win this match are Rey Mysterio and Alberto Del Rio. Mysterio because he has been World Heavyweight Champion twice and is most certainly capable of a WWE title run in the future! But as great as these 7 guys are they are not as great as Alberto Del Rio who I am picking to win this match and either cash in on the winner of the WWE Title match or maybe he could pull an RVD from 2006 and cash in for an actual match against John Cena or CM Punk at SummerSlam. Let's not kid ourselves here friends Del Rio is 1 of the most over heels in WWE today and even though he hasn't done much since being drafted to Raw I think this will be the restart of his megapush and hopefully this will lead to him winning the belt either at this PPV or at SummerSlam next month!
Winner: Alberto Del Rio
The Big Show vs. Mark Henry
Normally big man matches make me cringe but lately the big man matches on TV have actually been pretty good which gives me hope for this big man match! I mean the build for this match has been actually very good and it actually makes me look forward to this fight! Because of how stacked this card is this will be probably be the 2nd worst fight of the night but I think this has potential to be another fairly decent big man match! As for who wins well I am going to take a chance here and go with Mark Henry to win it mainly because I think he needs the win more and I think Show will be OK even with the loss.
Winner: Mark Henry
Smackdown Money In The Bank Ladder Match: Kane vs. Sin Cara vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Wade Barrett vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Justin Gabriel vs. Heath Slater vs. Sheamus
Even though the Raw match has the better field doesn't necessarily mean that this fight won't be any good because I think that this MITB match and the Raw MITB match will both be fun and entertaining to watch! OK now let's break this 1 down! I can already rule out Heath Slater, Justin Gabriel, Cody Rhodes, Daniel Bryan, and Sin Cara because Slater and Gabriel are going to be feuding with each other and Rhodes, Bryan, and Sin Cara will more than likely be in the Intercontinental title picture with Big Zeke and Ted Dibiase. Which only leaves Kane, Wade Barrett, and Sheamus as my favorites to win this match. Kane could win because like Miz on the Raw side he is the defending winner and oh by the way cashed in the briefcase later on in the night and won the World Heavyweight Championship! Wade Barrett could win because lately WWE has been starting to build him up again as a legitimate main event talent and is most certainly capable of a World title run in the future. But I am not going with any of those guys because I am going with Sheamus to win this fight because right now he is the only 1 who is currently involved in the World title picture and I would not be surprised if we see Sheamus cash in on the winner of the World Heavyweight title match thus making him the new World Heavyweight Champion and most likely setting up either another program with Randy Orton or maybe a Triple Threat with Christian at SummerSlam next month!
Winner: Sheamus
World Heavyweight Championship Match: Randy Orton vs. Christian
Before I preview this fight let me just remind you guys the stipulations for this fight and that is if Randy Orton gets disqualified or if the referee makes a "bad call" then Christian automatically wins the World Heavyweight Championship! OK now every match these 2 have had since this epic program started 2 months ago have all been good to great and I expect this match to be no different! Just the other day my partner in crime Mike Flecha informed me that Orton has garnered some major backstage heat over comments Orton made on a Radio show 2 weeks ago and that could cost Orton the belt here! While Christian has been doing an outstanding job in his new heel character and maybe the best heel work in his career! So who wins? Well even with all the backstage heat on him I am still going to go with Randy Orton to barely retain in what will be another great match from these 2 but watch out for Sheamus or whoever wins the Smackdown MITB match for that matter to cash in on Orton and steal the World Heavyweight Championship setting up a program with Orton at SummerSlam next month!
Winner: Randy Orton (but soon after Sheamus or other MITB winner)
WWE Divas Championship Match: Kelly Kelly vs. Brie Bella
No big surprise here as I think this will most likely be the worst fight of the night because not only are both of these Divas green as grass but also WWE does not give the Divas enough time for their matches. OK now that I got that off my chest, based on the events of last Monday's Raw I honestly thought that this was now going to become a Fatal 4 Way Match with Eve Torres and Nikki Bella as well but for now it remains a 1-on-1 fight but I wouldn't be surprised if we were to get a 4 Way here! But whether it's a 1-on-1 or a 4 Way I am still picking Kelly to retain here mainly because I think it's still too soon for her to drop the belt.
Winner: Kelly Kelly
WWE Championship Match: John Cena vs. CM Punk
Before I give you my preview for this fight let me give you the stipulations for this fight. If CM Punk wins the belt John Cena will be fired! OK now to the most anticipated WWE Title fight in quite some time! With all the drama and intrigue this match has more of a WrestleMania or big 4 PPV feel! But for WWE to have a match with such drama and intrigue headlining a non major PPV wow that is huge and could be a big time shot in the arm for WWE! Of course we all know that Punk's contract expires at Midnight and WWE is making a last ditch effort to resign him which I hope they do because if Punk really does leave then that is another huge blow for WWE as they have already lost Edge to retirement this year and for them to lose another money talent in CM Punk would be devastating because I am a HUGE Punk mark! Of course we have been down this road before in the case of John Cena back at last year's Survivor Series as part of the Nexus angle! So the big question is would WWE be crazy enough to pull the trigger on this again? Personally I am not sure but I will say this - this has been 1 of the hottest builds and angles we have seen in a long time and I will be very upset and disappointed if we do not get a big time payoff here! So in order for that to happen then Punk will have to win the belt and then have Alberto Del Rio or whoever wins the MITB match cash in on Punk and take the belt off of him! But as long as John Cena is still around and as long as John Cena is the champ I really cannot see WWE taking the belt off of him right now! But make no mistake about it friends no matter the outcome of this fight I am fully expecting this fight to be the clear choice for fight of the night!
Winner: John Cena
Overall this PPV has the potential to be the best WWE PPV since Extreme Rules back in May because the last 2 WWE PPV's really bombed if I'm being honest! The Cena/Punk main event will most likely be the show stealer and I also expect the Orton/Christian World title fight and both MITB matches to really deliver as well! Show and Henry has potential to be a very good big man match while sadly the Diva title fight will most likely stink up the joint as the worst fight of the night sorry to say!

TNA Destination X 2011 Predictions
Hello friends! Tonight TNA presents their all X-Division PPV known as Destination X live from the Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida! 7 matches are on the card so let's get right to my picks!
Douglas Williams vs. ???
This match was announced this past Thursday on Impact Wrestling and in all honesty I think it will be Anarchia of Mexican America who takes the challenge because it looks like they are going to start a program with Mexican America and the British Invasion. My guess is Douglas Williams goes over here but I see these 2 teams meeting up at either the next Impact Wrestling show or the PPV next month.
Winner: Douglas Williams
4 - Way Ultimate X Match to determine the #1 contender for the TNA X-Division Championship: Alex Shelley vs. Robbie E vs. Shannon Moore vs. Amazing Red
Not really the best field for this match as these guys were just randomly thrown into this match. Also none of these guys have really been doing much on the Impact Wrestling show anyways. If I have to pick a winner here then I will go with Robbie E and I'll give you my reason for this pick when I pick the outcome of the X title match in a short short.
Winner: Robbie E
Samoa Joe vs. Kazarian
This has potential to be a sleeper fight as both of these guys can really bring it. The Fortune mark in me wants for Kazarian to win this fight but I am going to take a chance here and say that Joe wins this fight because let's not kid ourselves here friends he really needs the win more than Kaz does.
Winner: Samoa Joe
TNA X-Division Championship Match: Abyss vs. Brian Kendrick
My friend Derek Ferreira went on the record and said that this fight was going to be the worst fight of this PPV and he maybe right because this angle has not really had any major punch you know? Anyways the reason I picked Robbie E to win the Ultimate X contender fight was because I am going to go with the upset and say that Kendrick wins the X Division title mainly because since this PPV is all about the X Division then a true X Division guy really needs to win the belt here and that's why I'm going with Kendrick to win the belt.
Winner: Brian Kendrick
4-Way Match for a TNA Contract: Austin Aries vs. Zema Ion vs. Low Ki vs. Jack Evans
OK before I give you my pick let me just state that my 2 partners in crime Michael Flecha and Derek Ferreira have both gone on the record and are calling this fight the fight of the night. Perhaps it will but I think another fight on this card will be the fight of the night but I'll let you know that in a bit. Anyways 1st off I have no clue who Zema Ion is. OK this past Thursday night I witnessed just how sick and crazy Jack Evans is when he won his qualifying match. Of course we all know Austin Aries fresh off his stint in ROH and of course Low Ki after his failed stint in WWE when he left because he didn't want to work the brutal WWE schedule. Who wins? Well I am going to go with Low Ki to win this fight mainly because I think he is the favorite in my eyes but make no mistake about it my friends this fight has show stealer and 5 stars written all over it as I expect this fight to feature lots of sick and crazy moves and that's just from Jack Evans!
Winner: Low Ki
Rob Van Dam vs. Jerry Lynn
Everybody remembers the epic battles these 2 had in the glory days of ECW. But because of their old age I'm not sure they can deliver such another quality and epic fight. But then again we all said the something about the Triple H/Undertaker No Holds Barred Match at WrestleMania 27 and look how that 1 turned out. Just saying. Anyways I don't expect these 2 to put on a 5 star classic like Taker and Hunter did but I think it will be a solid match at best. As for my pick well I am going with RVD to win this fight because let's face it he's many light years over than Jerry Lynn is.
Winner: Rob Van Dam
Christopher Daniels vs. AJ Styles
OK now while my 2 partners in crime feel that the 4 way TNA Contract fight is going to be the fight of the night - this for me is my fight of the night mainly because of all the epic 4-5 star battles these 2 Fortune guys have had in the past. Don't believe me just look them up on YouTube and you will surely not be disappointed. Anyways I am expecting this to be yet another instant classic just like all the others have been and I am also going with AJ to win this fight but after this fight is over I really hope we don't get another Daniels heel turn as I really want to see these 2 go at it for fun!
Winner: AJ Styles
Overall this PPV if booked correctly has the potential to be 1 of the best TNA PPV's in a very long time. After all they did deliver a strong outing last month with Slammiversary right? I think that AJ and Daniels will steal the show with the 4 way for the TNA contract coming in a very close 2nd and in all honesty I'm not sure about the other 5 fights on the card but I hope that they will be solid at best and not the typical ho hum Impact Wrestling matches that we've become accustomed to for some time now.
OK those are my picks for Destination X thanks so much and be sure to join me on my Tony Rants blogsite later tonight for my complete recap of tonight's show and also be sure to check out Derek Ferreira's YouTube page at slb200809 as he will have a complete video recap of tonight's show and be sure to join me on this blog next weekend as I will give you my predictions for the WWE Money In The Bank PPV so until then you know the routine everybody thumbs up talk to ya later!
